If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you on our email resilientcohousing@gmail.com if …
- You have useful skills or useful experience of chronic issues
- You’d like to help but don’t know what you can do
- You don’t have enough energy to contribute but would like to live or stay on retreat in a place like this
- Or you’d just like go on our email list and see how the project develops. Our main newsletters are infrequent – about once every couple of months
We’d also love to hear from anyone who knows of similar schemes for people with limited energy…or any bright ideas.
Looking forward to hearing from you …

I am very interested. I’ve had CFS and fibro for 15 years and now have Hypothyroidism as well, all underpinned by traums/anxiety. I currently work as a professional astrologer and spiritual growth mentor, writer and I also grow some of my own food. I have a deep connection to nature and its healing. I’m soon to be made homeless and face living in a van and am looking to build a peaceful place in the world. I would love to hear from you and discuss possibilities XX

Hi Alexander,
Good to hear from you – your interests sound very in tune with those of many people involved.
I’m sorry to hear you’ll be losing your home on top of health issues. I’m in a similar situation though I doubt the project will be up and running till next year – but you never know.
There are a lot of people interested with a wide variety of energy issues and sensitivities – as well as healing and practical skills, which will hopefully make great grounds for cross-fertilisation. At the moment, we’re trying to establish a small group to do the admin – if this interests you it would be great.
But there’s no pressure to be actively involved if you would rather just keep in touch with our progress – though please let us know if you receive this as sometimes our first email gets directed to the junk folder.
Meanwhile, here is our most recent group update, including an invitation to complete a questionnaire, which will be useful for us to get an idea of who’s involved and for funding/planning applications …
Full Moon Greetings everyone, here is hoping the moon is being kind to you!
Just a quick pre-newsletter update to keep in contact and to reassure you that there is lots of activity and investigations happening behind the scenes. And to say that contributions to the newsletter are very welcome.
Questionnaire
Thank you to those who have already submitted the questionnaire and if you intend to but just haven’t quite mustered the energy yet, don’t worry. The questions don’t have to be answered all at once, so you can come back to it if you need time to rest or process your thoughts. Also, there is NO commitment being made by completing it! We’ll be collating your responses and sharing them (anonymously) in the next newsletter which will, hopefully, be coming out sometime after the New Moon on the 28th of June….fresh new energy for the coming lunar month! So we would love to have your responses a bit before then if at all possible.

Groundwork
We’re planning to start exploring questions around core values, aims and objectives, structures/models, useful skills (bookkeeping/accounting etc, etc) and methods of communication. And, maybe most importantly, who wants to become more actively involved.
Also considering how we function together as a group – there’s plenty of info on this (e.g., on sociocracy/conflict resolution/NVC (any specialists out there?)). All useful background – but as we are specifically focused on chronic health issues, we will need to work out our own approach that’s appropriate to this.
And then finally we’ll consider how we incorporate or register as a group, which means we can then start looking at applying for funding and launching Resilient Housing as a live, functioning project ready to make things happen!!
Phew. That seems like a lot of ‘stuff’ to make happen, but we are confident there is enough interest and desire to make it happen in a gentle and timely manner.
Sociocracy 3.0 could be very useful in our discussions – it explores seven principles to achieving a shared (community-led) objective, which could be a very useful model for the functioning of Resilient Housing. If you can find the energy and make the time to watch it, it could be a useful foundation for us all to work from if in agreement.

WhatsApp
If you are comfortable using WhatsApp then don’t forget to email your phone number and we’ll send you an invite, it would be good to see a few more people involved in the conversations.
Don’t forget to keep sharing inspirational properties on WhatsApp, it is so useful to keep our dreams and visions fed while we grow into a functioning organisation.
Hope you are enjoying the summery weather
Wishing you good energy and a gentle week.

I am extremely interested. I have suffered for years with autoimmune conditions all related to trying to live in a society which has little knowledge or regard for these. I have a lot to offer any community in many ways. My husband is a professional musician multi instrumentalist and artist .. We try to live organically as much as this is possible in a main stream society – starting to move towards an Ayurvedic lifestyle – we are 62 and 64 hope we sound like your kind of people – do get in touch if so.

Hi Skye
I’m ever so sorry to take so long to reply – the website stopped alerting us to new comments for reasons beyond my comprehension, and I’ve only just discovered yours and several others.
We’ve had some very heartening interest from many lovely people with a variety of energy/sensitivity issues and healing skills. It would be wonderful to learn more about Ayurvedic lifestyle, it’s something that I’ve never had the chance to explore but many friends have benefited from it. And of course, musicians and artists are always welcome.
We’re in the process of preparing our next newsletter, which we will send out with a questionnaire, designed to help us assess what needs, skills and resources we have as a group. We also have a WhatsApp group (please send your number if you would like to be included in this) and a Slack group for more involved admin, to which everyone will be invited eventually.
I do hope you’re still interested after such a long delay, please send your email address, either here or preferably by email: resilientcohousing@gmail.com
Wishing you good gentle energy
Jess
